Butler man's body found below railroad overpass
Butler Township police are investigating the death of a man who was found this morning below a railroad overpass.
The body of Frank Lower, 41, of Butler was found by a railroad worker about 7:15 a.m.
The county coroner's office was called to the scene below the Route 68 overpass of the B & O Railroad tracks near the Butler and Summit township line.
Police said Lower had massive head injuries, but they could not say how Lower died.
There was no sign of foul play, according to Gary Garman, Butler Township police chief.
Police said they considered the area, a grass and gravel spot next to a bridge support, a crime scene.
An autopsy is scheduled for 8 p.m. today.
