Robert W. Hoffman
Robert W. Hoffman, 77, of Butler, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, after an illness.
Bob was born Feb. 19, 1943, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was the son of George and Carolyn Klett Hoffman.
He was a 1960 graduate of Slippery Rock Area High School.
Bob had been an independent truck driver.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Prospect.
Bob loved horses and, at one time, was a member of the Butler County Mounted Sheriff’s Posse.
Bob was a devoted husband and father.
Survivors include his wife, Lola Sceau Hoffman, whom he married Nov. 30, 1963; one son, Scott Hoffman of Slippery Rock; one daughter, Tammy Straughn of Slippery Rock; one brother, Stuart Hoffman; and three grandchildren, Shelby, Bailey and Tyler.
He was preceded by his parents; one son, Richard; and one brother, Ken.
HOFFMAN — All services for Robert W. Hoffman, who died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, will be held privately by his family.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jay Bryan Funeral Home in Prospect.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the Butler County Humane Society.
