Part of Route 422 closed in Armstrong County

A portion of Route 422 in Kittanning Township, Armstrong County, is closed in both directions due to a crash, PennDOT said Friday.
A news release said a section of the road between the intersections of Simpson Church Road, Rinker Hollow Road and Blanket Hill Road is closed with no estimated time for reopening. There is no detour route available, according to the release.
PennDOT advised motorists to use caution in this area.
