Robert T. Simm
Robert T. Simm, 79, of Parker passed away Wednesday evening at his home following an illness.
Born in Pittsburgh, Dec. 27, 1930, he was the son of the late Robert P. and Ruth C. Knuckles Simm.
A diesel mechanic most of his adult life, he rose from mechanic to management positions in the field, retiring from Continental Concrete Corp. in Florida.
He was a member of the former St. Mary Catholic Church at Parker and was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church at Emlenton at the time of his passing.
While living in Florida, he held a keen interest in sailing in the Atlantic and the Keys.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia E. Pearson Simm, who he married April 7, 1951; three children, Robert L. (Marty) Simm of Chicora, Michael John of Parker and Michelle Cota (fiance, Timothy Lawler) of Vermont; four grandchildren, Rob (Chinelle) Simm and Amy, Christine and Kelly Lawler; two great-grandchildren, Landon and Kairi; two brothers, Charles R. Simm of Coraopolis and William A. (Ann) Simm of Tennessee; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Emlenton with Monsignor Jan Olowin, church pastor, officiating.
