Pennsylvania American Water is making improvements in the area of West Wayne Street Tuesday, which may cause low pressure, no water or discolored water in the affected area.

Work began at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to last about 8 hours.

The area affected includes the stretch of West Wayne Street west of its intersection with South Chestnut Street.

If a customer’s water is discolored, they are advised to wait until it runs clear before using. This should typically take only a few minutes.
