Jacqueline R. Barber
Jacqueline R. Richards Barber, 82, of Westover, W.Va., formerly of Mars, died Thursday morning at her home.
Born in Macon, Ga., Feb. 24, 1927, she was the daughter of the late John Henry and Elizabeth Russell Richards.
A homemaker, Mrs. Barber was a former member of the Old Union Presbyterian Church in Mars, where she was in the Women's Circle of the church. She currently belonged to the First Baptist Church of Mannington, W.Va.
Surviving are three sons, James O. Barber Jr. in Florida, Douglas H. Barber of Rachel, W.Va., and Samuel J. Barber of Knox. Also four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter survive.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James O. "Pete" Barber, and by her brothers, John and Joseph Richards.
