Patricia Jane Double

Patricia Jane Double, 72, of West Sunbury died Monday in the comfort of her own home.

Born Dec. 18, 1932, in Leechburg, she was the daughter of Charles Edward and Jane Agnes Hoffman Lamoreaux of Clay Township.

She was a member of St. Louis Roman Catholic Church of West Sunbury and was a former Sunday school teacher.

Mrs. Double had worked at various retail stores prior to her illness. Her interests included camping in various areas of the United States and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles.

She will be remembered as a warm, loving and nurturing person by her family that includes her husband, William Double; four daughters, Mrs. Myron (Diane L.) Greenert of North Washington, Edwina J. Double and John Kuhn of Chicora, Mrs. Greg (Connie A.) Ice of West Sunbury and Mrs. David (Lori L.) Baxter of Butler; and a son, Randall W. Double of East Butler. She was a grandmother to six grandchildren, Erik and Kristoffer Greenert, Kristen Double, Travis Ice and Shane and Kara Baxter.

Her supportive siblings include four sisters, Mrs. Jack (Rosemary) Walsh and Mrs. Carolyn Walters, both of Butler, Mrs. Bert (Delores) Greiner of Plantation Fla., and Mrs. Regis (Margaret) Rodgers of Chicora; and a brother, Charles F. Lamoreaux of Butler.

DOUBLE - Private services and burial for Patricia Jane Double, who died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, were held at the convenience of the family.Arrangements were handled by WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, West Sunbury.Information also is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
