Broadband authority seeks feedback on plans

The Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority is asking for the public’s opinion until Friday, March 10 on two potential action plans for wider internet access.

The two plans can be viewed via the authority’s website and focus on engaging previously underserved populations such as aging individuals, veterans, individuals with disabilities and other people.

Once the public comment period closes, officials will discuss the two plans during a virtual meeting at 6 p.m. March 16.

The Authority will also identify stakeholders to be included in a Digital Equity Stakeholder Engagement Panel, which will help guide future plans.

For more information on the plans or to submit feedback on the plans, visit dced.pa.gov.
