Police Reports
The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:
Feb. 15 — Elane M. Gregory, 44, of Oil City, was charged with misdemeanor cashing bad checks. Police said she wrote a check for $666 that could not be cashed and owes that business $725.
Fe. 14 — Jeremy J. Rivera, 32, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he removed a wallet containing $275 from a vehicle.
Feb. 15 — John D. Appel, 45, of Renfrew, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Feb. 27 — Edward Ednacheski, 63, of Portersville, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he left a flea market with $200 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
Feb. 16 — Two juvenile males were cited for dissemination of intimate images in Cherry Township.
Feb. 15 — Levi R. Freshwater, 18, of Sarver, was involved in a vehicle crash on Ekastown Road, Clinton Township. Police said he lost control of his vehicle and struck a garage.
Feb. 15 — Nathan G. Sommers, 41, of Harrisville, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said a bag of suspected heroin, a hypodermic needle and glass smoking pipe were found in his possession.
Feb. 15 — William J. Criley, 39, of Chicora, was charged with two misdemeanors of driving under the influence after police said he crashed his vehicle Feb. 12 on Slippery Rock Road, Fairview Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Criley’s blood alcohol content at 0.082%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Feb. 15 — Kina K. Smith, 37, of Mars, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft. Police said she left someone’s residence with three watches, two pairs of sunglasses and a set of keys. She also charged $1,364 to someone’s card, police said.
Feb. 15 — Joseph C. Cubbage, 21, of West Sunbury, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs after police said they stopped him Feb. 11 on Washington Street, Bruin borough. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired and a later breath test showed Cubbage’s blood alcohol content at 0.167%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
Feb. 14 — Ashley G. Allison, 35, of Grove City, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said she left Boscov’s with $1,128 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
Feb. 13 — Paul D. Ford, 55, of Saxonburg, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said he crashed his vehicle Jan. 6 on Knoch and Saxonburg roads. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of methadone, fentanyl and alprazolam in his system.
Feb. 12 — Brady T. Ealy, 19, of Creekside, was involved in a vehicle crash on Kittanning Pike, Parker Township. Police said he struck a utility pole, a fence and another utility pole before overturning.
Feb. 10 — Erin D. Hindman, 51, of East Brady, was charged with a misdemeanor DUI after police said she crashed her vehicle Jan. 27 at Chicora and Holly roads in Fairview Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later blood test showed Hindman’s blood alcohol content at 0.322%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.
