Dispatchers at the county 911 center sent multiple units to the scene of a three-vehicle crash with injuries at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 2, on Route 228 in Middlesex Township.

Emergency personnel on the scene a few minutes later reported to dispatchers that all three vehicles were off the road.

Fire police set up traffic control to get motorists past the accident scene on the busy road.

About 10 minutes after emergency personnel were dispatched, some units were told to return to their stations or respond nonemergency to the scene.
