Paul Daniel 'Dan' Ross
Paul Daniel “Dan” Ross, 55, of Liberty Township, Mercer County, died Saturday in Clay Township.
Born in Butler, May 2, 1956, he was a son of the late Louis Albert Ross and Patricia Irene Crouch Ross.
He married Kelly Sue Hall on July 29, 1989.
He was employed at Slippery Rock Materials, Golf Course Road, Volant, where he was a heavy equipment operator.
He enjoyed hunting, motorcycles and playing with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Kelly S. Ross of Slippery Rock; two daughters, Jill S. Brain and her companion, John Bissell, of Mercer and Alicia D. Ross of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a son, Jamey L. (Mindy) Wise of Volant; a brother, Terry (Joyce) Ross of Stuarts Draft, Va.; and two sisters, Tracy (Larry) Allison of Slippery Rock and Tammy Ross of Slippery Rock. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Coral and Liam Wise and Brittany and Jacob Bissell.
ROSS — Friends of Paul Daniel “Dan” Ross, who died Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011, will be received at
Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. A service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Kenton Shaw, retired pastor from Emlenton, officiating.Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
