Henry Wrbas

Henry Wrbas, 89, of Pittsburgh, formerly of West, Texas, died Wednesday.

He was a 30-year Army veteran and served during World War II.

Mr. Wrbas retired as a sergeant from the University of Pittsburgh Police.

He had been a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts, and he was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving are three children, Richard O. (Catherine) Wrbas of Butler, Michael A. (Mary) Wrbas of Ben Avon and Patricia A. (Edward) Wehne of Pittsburgh; grandchildren Timothy J., Joseph R., Tammy J., Gregort A., Megan E. and Jeffrey M. Wrbas, Sean C. Wehner, Wendy L. Smith and Kelly Wrbas-Totin; and two great-grandchildren, Madison M. Totin and Rylie M. Wehner. A brother, Otto Wrbas of Texas, also survives.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vionne E. Wrbas, and a son, John D. Wrbas.

<B>WRBAS </B>— Friends of Henry Wrbas, who died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>ORION C. PINKERTON FUNERAL HOME</B>, 1014 California Ave., Avalon. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, Emsworth.
