Three community resource providers recognized the dedication of their employees at a National Employee Appreciation dinner Friday night.

Alliance for Nonprofit Resources, Center for Community Resources, and the Nonprofit Development Corporation gathered at the Tanglewood Center for the first time since 2020 to celebrate growth and connection.

According to Chris Lunn, executive director for the alliance and corporation, the three entities last met two weeks before the COVID-19 lock down.

“We’re celebrating CCR turning 20 last year, and ANR turned 15 this year. There’s been tremendous growth the last few years in the services aspect,” he said. “Everyone here does a great job, and we’re here to bring them all together and appreciate each other for the work they’re doing in the community.”

“We want to thank (our employees) for their dedication and passion and tell them they make a difference every day,” said Beth Gilland, executive director of the center. “The community is better because of them.”
