Robert “Jerry” Leasher, 72, of Portersville, formerly of Evans City, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

Born Aug. 17, 1950, in Washington, Pa., he was the son of the late Thomas G. and Doris M. Leasher.

Jerry was a 1969 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. He was employed by Tom’s Meat Market in Evans City until it closed. He was then self-employed. Jerry was an avid sportsman who excelled in both hunting and fishing. He was a lifetime member of Evans City Sportsmans Club. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory Larry and Carol Ann Leasher of Monroeville; Jay and Beverly Leasher of Zelienople; Rick and Beverly Leasher of Evans City; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his nieces, Jamie and Kelly Leasher; and nephews, Clinton Donaldson and Austin Rusch.

LEASHER — A celebration of life service will be held at a later date for Robert “Jerry” Leasher, who died Thursday, March 2, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Jerry’s honor to Good Samaritan Hospice.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
