Marsha Kaye Truman, 66, of the Chicora Commons passed away at the Commons at 10:45 a.m. Sunday following an extended illness. She had previously lived in Karns City, Butler and Zelienople.

She was a graduate of the Karns City High School Class of 1961 and was of the Protestant faith.

She enjoyed her computer and her Internet friends on Facebook during her illness.

She had been employed as a health caregiver with ARC, United Cerebral Palsy and Lifesteps in Butler.

She is survived by a daughter, Lisa D. Clayton and her husband, Kenneth W,. of Artesia, N.M.; two sons, Scott D. Ekas and wife, Michele K., of Chicora and Greg D. Ekas and his fiancee, Stacey E. Wallace, of Zelienople; six grandchildren, April Clayton of Artesia, N.M., Brian Clayton of Artesia, N.M., Kylie Ekas of Chicora, Madison Ekas of Chicora, Jennifer Wallace of Zelienople and Nicholas Edwards of the state of Montana; her father, Raymond H. "Buck" McElravy of Karns City; two brothers, Larry R. McElravy of Karns City and Marshall R. McElravy and his wife, Peggy, of Karns City; and a sister, Linda L. Roudebush and her husband, Larry J., of Karns City.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Pearl Reddinger McElravy on Dec. 23, 1993.

<B>TRUMAN</B> — Friends of Marsha Kaye Truman, who died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home </B>in Petrolia. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the funeral home with the Rev. Roy Tilton, former pastor of the Church of God of Prophecy of Karns City and the Rev. Scott Bunting, pastor of the Petrolia Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Rimersburg Cemetery.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.hillisfuneralhome.com.
