Schreckenghost, Trufley
Kara Schreckenghost and Travis Trufley, both of Sharpsville, were united in marriage June 19 at First Presbyterian Church of Sharpsville. The Rev. C. Charles Eckles officiated. A reception followed at the Shenango Valley Civic Center.
The bride is the daughter of Dave and Susan Schreckenghost of Sharpsville. Parents of the bridegroom are Arnie and Carol Trufley of Boyers.
The honor attendant was Shana Wilson of Sharpsville. Bridesmaids were Brooke Trufley of Slippery Rock, Melissa Merchant of Orlando, Fla., Amanda Saeger of Harleysville and Meagan Yeatts of Hermitage. The flower girls were Hannah and Alexandra Damond of North East.
Performing the duties of best man was Elliot Ralston of Boyers. Ushers were David Schreckenghost of Seattle, Heath Schreffler of Hooker, Patrick Rumbaugh of Hilliards, Michael Deal of Boyers and Ryan Protzman of Prospect. The ring bearer was Logan Osterwise of Slippery Rock.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Sharpsville High School and a 2008 graduate of Slippery Rock University, where she studied elementary and special education. She is employed as a learning support teacher at Hempfield Elementary School in Greenville.
The bridegroom graduated in 2002 from Moniteau High School and in 2007 from Slippery Rock University, where he studied communications. He is employed as a clinical manager at George Junior Republic in Grove City.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Sharpsville.
