Eden L. “Ed” Rivers, 53, of Butler, formerly of Mercer, passed away Sunday.

He was the beloved husband of Rosea Rivers; the brother of Donna Magan, David (Sharon) Rivers and Beverly Linn; and the son of the late Donald and Hazel Rivers.

His hobbies were woodworking and gardening.

RIVERS — There was no visitation for Eden L. “Ed” Rivers, who died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, and a memorial service was private.Professional services were entrusted to the Thomas M. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Blawnox.
