Joyce A. Williams

Joyce A. Williams, 40, of Winfield Township passed away Sunday at her home.

Joyce was born Oct. 5, 1974, in Natrona Heights, a daughter of Karen (Johns) (Kevin) Gray of Lower Burrell and Thomas H. McDade of Butler.

Joyce was an EMT for Springdale EMS for a number of years and later for Murrysville Medic One and Vandergrift EMS. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing pool and bingo, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her three daughters, Ashley (Samuel) Sipe of Apollo, Catherine Zier of Brackenridge and Mercedes Sowinski of Beaver Falls; her son, Charles D. “Bear” McKenna-Stivers of Cabot.

Joyce is also survived by two sisters, Kelly (Charlie) Carrigan of Ford City and Dalelynn McDade of Brackenridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris D. Stivers, who died earlier this month; her grandmother, Irma Johns; and great-aunt, Matild
