Jean M. Rowe
Jean M. (Neyman) Rowe, 91, formerly of Natrona Heights passed peacefully on Friday into the heavenly embrace of her Lord and Savior surrounded by her family at Concordia Good Samaritan Hospice.
She was born in 1926 in the Overbrook section of Pittsburgh, to Aldo and Mabel Arnold Neyman.
She graduated from the former Har-Brack High School in 1945, and married Donald L. Rowe in 1949.
Together, they resided in Natrona Heights, where Jean worked as the bookkeeper for the family owned Don Rowe Masonry business and where she and Don raised their two children, their son, Tracy; and their daughter, Erin.
Jean was a devoted wife, mother and friend who loved family and was a genuinely kind and compassionate soul, always concerned for the health and safety of her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Before suffering from dementia, she was an active volunteer at the Herbal Thymes Garden Club of Saxonburg, and the thrift shop at Grace United Methodist Church in Natrona Heights.
She enjoyed being with her family and delighted in planning gatherings. Another important passion in Jean's life was the education of her children. She worked tirelessly to see them off to college.
Her everlasting love for her family lives on. She is survived by the love of her life her husband of 69 years, Donald of Saxonburg; her son, Tracy (Debbie) Rowe of Saxonburg; her daughter, Erin (John) Brown of Punta Gorda, Fla.; four grandchildren, Chase (Jocelyn) Rowe of Valencia, Marisa (Shane) Jakubovic of Valencia, Emerson (Nate) Graves of Marquette, Mich., and Ellery Graves, of Oakland, Calif.; along with six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Aldo Neyman of Indianapolis, Ind.
