A 16-year-old male from Chicora was taken to the hospital after state police said he crashed his vehicle into a house Sunday afternoon.

Police said around 12:14 p.m., the juvenile male was driving east on Chicora Road in a Chevrolet Captiva when he left the roadway. The car hit a mailbox and struck a house at 842 Chicora Road.
