William DeHart

DeHart

William R. DeHart, 62, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023, while under the care of AHN Wexford Hospital.

Born Sept. 15, 1960, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late William and Amy Myrick DeHart.

Bill was a very sweet man. He had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. He was also very helpful and hardworking. He loved Christmas and enjoyed gardening. He loved animals, especially his dogs.

He was a humorous prankster, who liked to cause mischief. Above all, he was passionate about his grandkids and cherished the time he spent with his family. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Bonnie Nist DeHart; his children, Megan (DJ) DeHart and Melissa DeHart; his two miniature dachshunds, Roxie and Ben; his siblings, Linda (David) Hussar, Rita (Keith) Schwenke, Tom (Lisa) DeHart and Paul (Christine) DeHart; his grandchildren, Owen, Aleks and Kiley; his sister-in-law, Debbie (Bill) Halle; his brother-in-law, Eugene (Pat) Nist; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his two nephews, Jason Stephenson and Nick Schwenke.

DEHART — Friends of William R. DeHart, who died Sunday, March 12, 2023, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. and from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. Friday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER OF CONNOQUENESSING TOWNSHIP, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew, with Pastor Gregg Hartung officiating.
