Gribble

Alan Bruce Gribble, 89, of Valencia, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at his residence.

He was born March 14, 1934, in Wilkinsburg, and was the son of the late John and Emily (Conville) Gribble.

Bruce had retired from Bell Telephone after 32 years.

He was a veteran of U.S. Army, and was a member of the American Legion Post 117.

Bruce loved golfing and had belonged to many leagues. He had also worked at Aubrey’s Dubbs Dred Golf Course.

Surviving are his daughter, Donna (Bill Stivason) Higgins of Valencia; his son, Ronald Gribble and his fiancée, Kathy File, of Butler; his granddaughter, Shannon (David Henness) Griffin of Butler, and his great-grandchildren, Evan and Brody.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Marion Jean (Richardson) Gribble.

GRIBBLE — Private service and private burial for Alan Bruce Gribble, who died Tuesday, March 21, 2023, will be held in the Middlesex Methodist Cemetery in Valencia.

Arrangements are under the direction of YOUNG FUNERAL HOME in Butler.
