Butler Eagle announces its March “Pets of the Month”
The Butler Eagle is proud to partner with the Butler County Humane Society to bring you the “Pets of the Month,” showcasing two of the wonderful pets up for adoption at their facility.
Take a look at your March pets of the month below.
Taffy is a sweet, 5 year old hound/pit-bull mix who came to the Butler County Humane Society on March 9 from Animal Friends in Pittsburgh.
A calm, loving dog who enjoys being pet, Taffy is great around other dogs and cats alike. While slightly skittish, Taffy loves affection and being around people, and may just take a little time to come out of her shell.
While sweet and loving, Taffy is recommended for home environments with older children.
Echo is a 6 year old domestic longhair with a long gray coat and piercing eyes who came to the shelter from Butler in August of 2022.
Generally calm and very affectionate, Echo has been patiently awaiting his forever home. His favorite thing in the world are getting chin scratches from the staff at the shelter and relaxing in the sun, but he definitely values his alone time.
Taffy would do best in a home where he is the only pet, and with families that have older children.
If you’re interested in adopting Taffy, Echo, or any of the others pets up for adoption, make sure to visit the Butler County Humane Society’s website at www.butlercountyhs.org.
