Kathleen J. Smith

Kathleen J. Smith, 55, of Evans City Road, Renfrew, died at 10:35 a.m. Thursday at the Evergreen Nursing Center.

Born Sept. 30, 1950, in Butler, she was the daughter of Charles R. Holbein and the late Norma Jean Reed.

Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and was a demonstrator for the Home and Garden Party. She also was involved with the North Washington Flames and Flickers.

She was a member of the Faith United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her husband, Ron F. Smith, whom she married Oct. 27, 1972; a son, Lance Smith of Butler; two daughters, Heather Shultz of Chicora and Ashley Smith of Butler; and four grandchildren, Derrick and Noah Shultz and Kori and Norma Smith.

A brother, Charles "Bud" Holbein of Butler; two sisters, Dora Holbein of Karns City and Mary Holbein of Butler, and three nieces, Stacey, Carrie and Megan Holbein. also survive.

<B>SMITH</B> — Friends of Kathleen J. Smith, who died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Campbell, her church pastor, officiating.
