Sandy Bell, 75, of Reston, Va., formerly of Harrisville, passed peacefully at her residence on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Sandy was born on Oct 20, 1947, the sixth of 12 children to Mildred and Norman Bell.

Sandy graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1965 and began her career as an executive assistant in Washington, D.C., and in Northern Virginia in 1967 and continued that role until her retirement in 2013. Sandy enjoyed traveling and visited many places, including Paris, Germany, Hawaii, Quebec and New York City, where she enjoyed Broadway shows.

Sandy always enjoyed the farm, south of Harrisville, know at the “Delps Farm.”

She is survived by Peggy Heldorfer, Jack (Micki) Bell, Barbara Hershelman, Jim Paul (Diane) Bell, Eileen Bell, Raymond Bell, Edwin Bell, and Charles Bell, along with many nieces and nephews, with a special fondness for Jeff Bell and Gary Bell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Norman Bell; brothers, William Bell and Daniel Bell; and a sister, Loretta Bell.
