Betty L. Williams, 86, of Chicora, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2023.

She was born in West Freedom, Pa., on July 1, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Harry and Rhoda (Keefer) Stewart.

After graduating high school, she completed her associate degree as a beautician.

Betty was known for her beautiful smile, her wonderful personality, and the love for her family and friends. She took tremendous pride in her family and raising her children.

Betty was loved and will be forever missed.

She was the mother of Rita (Bill) Perkins, Jeffrey (Diane) Olson, Sandra (Greg) Kirchner, and David (Tracy) Olson; sister of Irene “Babe” Alworth and Susan (Roger) Crick.

She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Williams, who passed away March 29, 1984; her siblings, Jane Alworth, John Stewart, Cliff Stewart, and Alice “Toot” Kirschler; and one grandchild.

WILLIAMS — Family and friends of Betty L. Williams, who died Sunday, April 2, 2023, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A funeral will immediately follow in the funeral home.
