Julie Wolenski Keresztury

Julie Wolenski Keresztury, 85, died Monday at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born Nov. 22, 1925, at home in Lyndora. She was the daughter of the late Andy and Catherine Wolenski.

Julie was a lifelong resident of Lyndora and most recently lived at 108 Sunbury Fields in Butler.

She was married to Alex Keresztury Oct. 16, 1948.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was loved by everyone she met and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alex, who died Jan. 17, 1997; and five brothers and three sisters, John, Mike, Pete, Joe, Frank, Ann, Sonia and Lucy.

She is survived by two sons, Robert of Pittsburgh and James of Morgantown, W.Va.; daughters-in-law, Jill and Susan; and four grandchildren, Nicholas, Molly, Todd and Wade.

She was a member of the St. Michael the Archangel Church of Butler.

<B>KERESZTURY </B>— There was no public visitation. Private funeral services for Julie Wolenski Keresztury, who died Monday, July 18, 2011, were held at <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>. Burial took place at Butler Memorial Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
