A West Sunbury man is accused of assaulting two people with a baseball bat last week, state police said.
The Thursday, April 13, incident resulted in charges of misdemeanors simple assault, reckless endangerment and summary harassment against Chris A. Detrick, 59.
Police responded to an active domestic incident in Oakland Township on Thursday, where an alleged victim said Detrick hit her in the face and shoulder with a baseball bat. She suffered injuries to her upper lip.

A 3-year-old child was in the residence at the time of the assault, according to documents.
Detrick’s preliminary hearing before District Judge Lewis Stoughton is scheduled for April 25.
