Multiple AR-15 style rifles taken from Venango Township home, police said
A large amount of ammunition and multiple guns, including three AR-15 style rifles, were taken last week from a Venango Township home, according to state police.
In a Tuesday, April 18 press release, Butler state police said they responded to the reported burglary April 9 on Kelly Road, where they found no sign of forced entry.
Police said a large amount of ammunition, three AR-15 style rifles, a shotgun, one semiautomatic .22 rifle, a bolt action hunting rifle, a semiautomatic pistol and a non-typical mounted whitetail deer head were taken from the property.
