Susan A. Litteral, 63, died Monday at her home in Indiana, Pa.

Born May 17, 1946, in Butler, to Robert C. and Minerva "Betty" Elizabeth Jones, Susan graduated from Butler High School in 1966.

After moving to Indiana, Indiana County, she became an avid horsewoman and later, a talented artist.

Her most enduring work of art is the "Flaming Chalice" stained glass window that graces the sanctuary of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Indiana, where she was an active member.

Most of all, Susan was a loving mother and a generous and caring friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Jones.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Jennifer A. Litteral; her mother, Minerva "Betty" Elizabeth Jones; and a brother, Timothy Jones.
