Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Adams Twp

April 12 — Casey R. Klukaszewski, 32, of Mars, was charged with a misdemeanor of driving under the influence after police said they stopped her on Route 228. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired.

April 11 — Christine J. Boice, 45, of Rimersburg, was charged with three misdemeanor counts of drug possession. Police said she was found with three stamp glassine bags containing a powdery substance, a metal spoon, and several pill capsules.

Butler City

April 10 — Richard A. Bowser II, 23, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors evading arrest, false reports and disorderly conduct. Police said was disorderly during several 911 calls and filed false reports.

April 10 — Brian S. Travis, 25, of Sligo, was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and summary trespassing. Police said he was loitering.

Cranberry Twp

April 12 — Melissa M. Carlson, 20, of Harmony, was charged with misdemeanor property damage. Police said she hit another vehicle on Nicklas Drive and did not stop to provide insurance information.

April 12 — John R. Ancosky, 25, of Leeschburg, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him on Freedom Road. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Ancosky’s blood alcohol content at 0.223%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Office of Attorney General

April 11 — Kirsten H. Schrencongost, 38, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felonies fraud and theft. Police said she filed a false car insurance claim.

Office of State Inspector General

April 10 — Paige S. Garduno, 27, of Hilliards, was charged with felony fraud. Police said she fraudulently received $4,368 in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP) benefits.

State police, Butler

April 12 — Dean R. Maxwell, 43, of Greenville, was charged with a misdemeanor for operating a vehicle without ignition interlock.

April 12 — Deborah E. Cooper, 47, of Pittsburgh, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Logan’s Gun Gallery in North Washington Township.

April 12 — Zachary A. Clouse, 37, of Butler, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm at Rural King in Center Township.

April 12 — Harold M. Bowser, 51, of Kittanning, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor drug possession. Police said he was found with a small amount of marijuana.

April 11 — Robert A. Downing, 57, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor trespassing. Police said he repeatedly trespassed on a Center Township property, even after receiving a notice.

April 11 — Karen S. Verheyen, 55, of West Sunbury, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said she took $1,300 from a residence.

April 11 — Gregory E. Ernhardt, 32, of Renfrew, was charged with misdemeanors terroristic threats and simple assault and summary criminal mischief. Police said he threatened to kill someone and slashed a tire on their ATV.

April 11 — Richard M. Nolan, 32, of West Sunbury, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment. Police said he threw someone to the ground.

April 11 — Cody M. Rishel, 24, of Grove City, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police said he crashed his vehicle April 7 on Glade Mill Road, Clinton Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed Rishel’s blood alcohol content at 0.085%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

April 10 — Kelly L. Wilson, 54, of Harrisville, was charged with felonies forgery and access device fraud and misdemeanors theft and cashing bad checks. Police said she gave a bad check totaling $465.

April 10 — Daniel N. Mukaabya, 35, of Karns City, was charged with felonies forgery, access device fraud and misdemeanors theft and bad checks. Police said he cashed multiple bad checks totaling $1,544.

April 13 — Saniya Niazi, 41, of Cranberry Township was taken to Ohio Valley Hospital in Allegheny County after being struck from behind in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 376 in Collier Township, Allegheny County. She stopped her car in the left eastbound lane due to a traffic accident when her vehicle was hit from behind by a sport utility vehicle and pushed forward about 40 feet. The SUV was then struck by another vehicle. The SUV driver also was injured.

April 25 — Summit Academy student Ethan Stoops, 18, of Union City, Erie County, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with injuries that resulted from a fight with a 16-year-old male student at the academy.

April 27 — A 47-year-old Cabot man was cited for multiple dog law violations after his dog killed five chickens and injured three others at the home of a 39-year-old Cabot man on Stoney Hollow Road in Winfield Township. Police didn’t identify either person.
