Harrisville teen injured in side-by-side crash
A Harrisville teenager was seriously injured in a side-by-side crash over the weekend, police said.
According to state police, a 16-year-old girl from was flown Saturday, April 29, by a medical helicopter to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh after driving a side-by-side all-terrain vehicle “too fast” around a turn on Old State Road in Concord Township and hitting an embankment.
The vehicle rolled onto the driver’s side, police said.
The teenage girl had suspected serious injuries, police said. A 17-year-old male passenger from Karns City was not injured in the crash.
