DALLAS — Auditions for the fourth installment of Fox's summer competition his "So You Think You Can Dance" will begin Jan. 17 in Dallas.
While previous editions have only featured four audition cities, the field has been expanded to six locations, which is bound to be helpful for aspiring prancers in Charleston, S.C. (Jan. 31) and Washington, D.C. (Feb. 21).
Auditions are also being held in Los Angeles (March 6), Milwaukee (March 20) and Salt Lake City (April 3). Specific locations have yet to be announced, but will be posted on the show's Fox homepage on the Internet.
Casting is open to people between the ages of 18 and 30 at the time of the audition who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the U.S., or possess a current legal visa allowing them to seek employment in the U.S. without restriction as to employer. It also helps if you can dance.
Last season's winner was Sabra Johnson, who took home the $250,000 cash prize.
LOS ANGELES — Those of you waiting with bated breath for the premiere of "The Celebrity Apprentice" will have to wait a little longer.NBC has decided to hold off on the show's premiere a week, pushing it back from Jan. 3 to Jan. 10. Its time slot — 9 p.m. Thursdays — and everything else about the show remains the same.The move will protect the show from a couple of other likely big ratings draws on Jan. 3. Fox broadcasts college football's Orange Bowl that night, and ABC is slated to air the last original "Grey's Anatomy" completed before the writers' strike."The Celebrity Apprentice" will bring together the likes of actress Marilu Henner, rock star Gene Simmons, former heavyweight champ Lennox Lewis and model Carol Alt, among others, to compete in business-related task under the eye of Donald Trump. The winner will earn a $250,000 donation to a charity of his or her choice.
