Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

April 19 — Dean T. Adams Jr., 68, of Butler, was charged with felonies of failure to register under Megan’s Law.

April 18 — Dustin J. McFadden, 22, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor false reports. Police said he called 911 to report a shooting that did not happen.

April 17 — Albert J. Mastrocesare, 39, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors criminal mischief and trespassing. Police said he slashed someone’s tires.

April 17 — Richard A. Schmidt, 63, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI after police said they stopped him March 28 on South Main Street. Police said he showed signs of impairment and that a later blood test showed his blood alcohol content at 0.233%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

April 17 — Jeremy R. Miller, 26, of West Sunbury, was charged with misdemeanor use and possession of drug paraphernalia and summary public drunkenness. Police said he was found in possession of an empty stamp bag and a syringe.

April 17 — Dennis R. John, 47, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said he was in possession of a ladder that previously was stolen.

April 17 — Ryan L. Parker, 30, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors DUI and accidents involving property damage after police said he crashed his vehicle March 14 on South Monroe Street. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired.

Butler Twp

April 19 — Maxine J. Jacobson, 26, of Clintonville, was charged with misdemeanors theft, conspiracy and corruption of minors. Police said she left Walmart with $325 worth of merchandise she did not pay for.

April 17 — Brittany L.N. Irvin, 31, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said she left Fairfield Inn without paying $1,222.

April 17 — Tashawa L. Francis, 30, and Kelsey E. Simons, 22, both of Butler, were charged with misdemeanor theft. Francis additionally was charged with misdemeanors drug possession and conspiracy. Police said they left Walmart with $401 worth of merchandise without paying for it. Francis was found with a stamp bag of an unknown substance, police said.

Cranberry Twp

April 17 — Megan E. Manack, 29, of Mars, was charged with felony theft. Police said she took two rings from Planet Fitness worth $3,600 and pawned them.

April 17 — David D. Bradley, 25, of Freedom, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him April 11. Police said he showed signs of impairment and that his blood alcohol content was 0.102%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Office of State Inspector General

April 17 — Johnna L. Stewart, 35, of Sarver, was charged with felony fraud. Police said she fraudulently received $1,393 in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.

Slippery Rock Borough

April 18 — Alan A. Byler, 21, of Emlenton, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police said they stopped him on New Castle Road. Police said a field sobriety test showed he was impaired and a later breath test showed Byler’s blood alcohol content at 0.08%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Slippery Rock University

April 19 — Joshua T. Kellem, 26, of Philadelphia, was charged with misdemeanors stalking, trespassing and harassment. Police said he repeatedly contacted someone and trespassed on campus.

April 19 — Samantha Harriett, 22, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Police said bags of suspected fentanyl were found in her home.

State Police, Butler

April 19 — Daniel L. Miller, 67, of Renfrew, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor DUI after police said he crashed his vehicle March 30 on Pittsburgh Road in Penn Township. Police said a later blood test showed Miller’s blood alcohol content at 0.132%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

April 19 — Mark A. Cubbison Jr., 24, of Lyndora, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of drug possession. Police said he was found with a half-ounce of marijuana, a grinder and multiple smoking pipes.

April 18 — Basil A. Luchkiw, 40, of Cabot, was charged with misdemeanor DUI after police said he crashed his vehicle Jan. 3 in Clearfield Township.

April 18 — Jessica L. Cartwright, 43, of Chicora, was charged with misdemeanors simple assault and summaries harassment and disorderly conduct. Police said she kicked someone and scratched the person’s face.

April 17 — Nicholas E. Abbot, 28, of Slippery Rock, was charged with a felony and misdemeanor of a false written statement. Police said he answered a question inaccurately when applying to purchase a firearm in Center Township.
