Heather L. Kennedy, 46, of Zelienople died Wednesday at her home.

Born Feb. 10, 1962, in Allegheny County, she was the daughter of David H. and Birdetta B. Gant Kennedy.

Heather was a member of St. Peter's Reformed Church, Zelienople.

She graduated from Seneca Valley High School, where she was a member of the swim team, and she attended the Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing. She was an emergency room nurse for 12 years at UPMC Passavant Hospital, a paramedic for 10 years with the Cranberry Ambulance Service and was a hospice nurse for five years.

Heather loved reading and sports.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Eric Kennedy and his wife, Dolly, of Prospect; a niece and nephew, Ashley and Tyler Kennedy; aunts and uncles, Leon and Maxine Gant and William and Elizabeth Kennedy, all of Zelienople, and Suzanne Hill of Maryland.

Kennedy, 46, who died Wednesday, June 25, 2008, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
