Harriett M. Fry, 88, of Karns City died Thursday at ACMH Hospital, Kittanning.

Born in Kittanning, April 18, 1919, she was the daughter of George and Helen Dowling Luke.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Ruth Ann) Moore of Chicora; five sons, Robert H. Fry of Karns City, Leonard Fry of Butler, Richard Fry of West Sunbury and Jack and Calvin Fry, both of Chicora; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. A brother, Norman Luke of Kittanning, also survives.

Her husband, Robert Fry, whom she married Dec. 31, 1936, died Sept. 7, 1990. She also was preceded in death by a sister.

<B>FRY </B>— Friends of Harriett M. Fry, who died Thursday, June 8, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 111 E. Slippery Rock St., Chicora. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Sampson, a retired pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial will be at the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Chicora.
