Richard “Ricky” Lee Geibel
Richard “Ricky” Lee Geibel, 60, of Butler passed away peacefully on Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital with his brothers and sisters by his side.
Born Oct. 24, 1957, in Butler, he was a son of the late James F. and Ann A. Rettig Geibel.
He was a graduate of Butler High School and was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
He was employed by the PARC for many years.
His favorite pastime was listening to music, dancing, sports and collecting baseball cards. He loved camping with Larry and Alice Queto, whom he resided with for 12 years, and whom we would like to thank for their loving care. Also, thank you for the love and kindness at his recent home at Lindsdale, and Janice, for all of your 40 years of support.
The family would like to thank everyone who took care of our beloved brother. Especially the doctors, nurses and staff in ICU. A special thanks to Chelsea, for her tender loving care and compassion for Ricky and his family.
He is survived by his sisters, Shirley (Jack) Hicks of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Patti (Rodger) Young and Jean (Ken) Karenbauer, both of Butler; a brother, Ronald (Maureen) Geibel of Elgin, Ill.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew and a great-nephew.
GEIBEL — Friends of Richard “Ricky” Lee Geibel, who died Wednesday, June 20, 2018, will be received from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A blessing service will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday from the funeral home with the Rev.
