Mary A. Philips
Mary A. Philips, 75, of Butler passed away Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 10, 1942, in Mars, and was the daughter of the late William J. Stewart and the late Mary Baker Stewart.
Mary was a homemaker. She enjoyed flea markets, genealogy and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Vance Philips of Butler; three daughters, Daphne Philips of Sheffield, Pa., Candance Philips of Butler and Michelle Rockwell of East Butler; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Donald Stewart of Butler, David (Terri) Stewart of Butler, William (Mary) Stewart of North Carolina and Gerald Stewart of Butler; two half-sisters, Sherri Fischer of Kittanning and Sue (John) Spaulding of Adrian, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Philips, whom she married on July 31, 1961, and who passed away on Feb. 5. 2016; and a brother, Ronald Stewart.
PHILIPS — Friends of Mary A. Philips, who died Thursday, June 28, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
