Donald L. Benninger, 79, of the Chicora Medical Center, formerly of East Brady, died Tuesday at the Chicora Medical Center.

Born Feb. 27, 1938, he was the son of Arthur R. and Anna M. (Schott) Benninger.

Don was a member of the Trinity Reformed Church in Bradys Bend.

For 21 years, Don was a custodian at East Brady High School. He later worked for nine years at Steiner's Outdoors and More.

He enjoyed playing guitar and admiring antique cars.

Surviving are one sister, Doris Benninger of the Chicora Medical Center; and a close family friend, Ruth Port of Butler.

Don was preceded in death by his parents.
