Curtis Leroy Peffer

Curtis Leroy Peffer, 53, of Worth Township, Portersville, passed away suddenly Wednesday at his home due to natural causes.

He was born Oct. 18, 1962, in Butler to Harold Everett Peffer and Edith Eleanor Magee Peffer.

He had worked for Wack Manufacturing as a welder, fabricator, and installer of heavy equipment. He later worked part time for 422 Auto Sales and the Worth Township Supervisors.

He was a member of the Portersville Bible Church.

Survivors include three brothers, Barry E. Peffer and his wife, Anita M., of Volant, Donald L. Peffer and his wife, Zoe L., of Cuiaba, Brazil, and Steven M. Peffer and his wife, Sandra L., of Smyrna, Tenn.; his sister, Dr. Diane M. Peffer of Mesa, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.

PEFFER — The family of Curtis Leroy Peffer, who died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016, will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Portersville Bible Church, 156 E. Portersville Road, Portersville, with the Rev. Michael Charles presiding. Interment will be at the Portersville Bible Church Cemetery.Memorial contributions may be given to the Portersville Bible Church.
