NICOLAS

Robert Bruce Nicolas, 79, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was a chemist for Calgon Carbon Corporation. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Cranberry Township. He enjoyed motorcycles, watching the Steelers, listening to country music and drinking an ice-cold beer. Above all, Bob cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Pappy Bob.” He will be dearly missed.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 54 years, Nadyne Mae (Allen) Nicolas; his children, Laurel Nickles (Mike) of Cranberry Township and Frank Nicolas (Patricia) of Crescent Township; his grandchildren, Matthew Nickles, Isabel Nicolas, Ava Nicolas and Zachary Nicolas; his siblings, Wendy Schneider (Michael), Michele Nicolas (John Marchek), Toni Ludwig (Bill), David Wahlberg (Judi), Garey Wahlberg (Diana) and Lisa Wahlberg; his sister-in-law, Christine Wahlberg; his cousin-in-law, Sue Ann Sowinski; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Jawn Wahlberg.

NICOLAS — As per Bob’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his honor to a charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township, PA 16066.
