CENTER TWP — A mobile home was deemed a total loss after a fire Tuesday, June 6, in a trailer court behind the Butler Flea Market in Center Township.

Around 8 a.m., crews responded to reports of a fire on Volkswood Drive.

Once crews arrived, additional tankers were requested due to a lack of fire hydrants in the area, said Shaun Milkovich, assistant chief of Unionville Volunteer Fire Company.

The fire was fought with water and foam. Firefighters continually sprayed the trailer to douse hot-spots.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but was deemed a total loss, Mikovich said.
