Moniteau Jr./Sr. High School
The commencement ceremony for Moniteau Jr./Sr. High School was held at 7 p.m. May 31 in the high school auditorium. The student speakers were valedictorian Emma Covert and salutatorian Emma Landgraf.
Emma Covert is the daughter of Bernard and Jody Covert. She lives in Chicora. Emma participated in track and field, softball and golf. She was the president of National Honor Society and was a member of student council, math tutoring and English tutoring. Emma plans to attend Grove City College where she will major in mechanical engineering while continuing her softball career with the Wolverines.
Emma Landgraf is a resident of Chicora and the daughter of Rich and Tammi Landgraf. She was a member of the National Honor Society and the yearbook. She plans to attend the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
