Show time prime spots made for selfies

The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival wants Jeepers and their Jeeps to not only have an awesome experience, but also capture an awesome selfie.

The festival is creating different “Selfie Spot” locations at Cooper’s Lake Campground where attendees will find prime locations to take the perfect selfie. A pile of dirt and some rocks will help create the perfect photo opp near the participant gate and the Jeep Playground staging area.

“Last year, I watched several Jeep owners pull their vehicles on a small mound of dirt for a photo opportunity,” Wayne Kovac, manager of festival logistics, said. “That inspired me to add these new areas to the festival so that our attendees can capture the perfect picture a little easier.”

Three winners will be randomly selected to win a package valued at more than $100 for next year’s event.

To be eligible, Jeepers must “check in” to the festival on Facebook and share their selfie using #BantamSelfie, plus include comments and the sponsor’s signage.
