Robert T. Claypoole

Robert T. Claypoole, 61, of Bruin died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday at Chicora Medical Center after a two-year illness.

Born Nov. 27, 1943, in Butler County, he was the son of the late William M. and Mabel E. Ace Claypoole.

He was a Navy veteran and was a truck driver for Falcon Trucking.

Mr. Claypoole was a Protestant.

He is survived by his companion, Christina Snow of Bruin; a daughter, Carol McCall of Slippery Rock; two sons, Robert Thomas Claypoole Jr. of Ohio and Thomas Robert Claypoole of Hooker; three stepsons, Ronald Snow Jr. of Bradys Bend, Matthew Snow of Fairview and Justin Snow of Bruin; three grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren. Three brothers, Blaine H. "Ike," Elmer "Peach," and Clarence "Buzz," Claypoole, all of Petrolia, also survive.

A sister and a brother preceded him in death.

CLAYPOOLE - Friends of Robert T. Claypoole, who died Tuesday, July 26, 2005, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Terrence Kennedy, pastor of Martinsburg Church of Bruin, officiating.
