Butler Memorial Hospital doctor earns Top Physicians under 40 recognition
Dr. Dillon Stein, director of palliative care at Independence Health System’s Butler Memorial Hospital, was chosen by the Pennsylvania Medical Society as one of the year’s top physicians under 40, according to Independence Health System.
Eligible physicians must be society members, and all nominees are selected by their colleagues and peers within the society.
“It is humbling to receive this type of award from your peers,” Stein said. “I am grateful for the support of Independence Health System, and I am proud to be a part of the care that we provide to our communities.”
Stein joined the health system in 2016 and was promoted to his position at BMH in 2021.
He is a graduate of Alfred University and earned his medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
