Beverly J. Capello, 72, of Slippery Rock passed away at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Bev was born Sept. 6, 1941, in Butler.

She was a homemaker, the bookkeeper for the family business and a 32-year cancer survivor. She was a member of the Muddycreek Presbyterian Church.

Bev is survived by her husband, Robert E. Capello, who she married Aug. 1, 1959; her daughter, Shari (Scott) Wiest of Butler; her son, Robert E. (Karla) Capello Jr. of Slippery Rock; her five grandchildren, Scott (Zoe) Wiest, Chad Wiest, Cassie Wiest, Brian (Lindsey) Capello and Nate (Sarah) Capello; and her two great-grandchildren, Lily Capello and Madelyn Horner. Two sisters, Joan (John) Murphy of Butler and Judy (Larry) Grossman of Slippery Rock; three brothers, D. Craig (Sylvia) Snyder of Boyers, Dennis Kildoo of Butler and Larry (Gloria) Snyder of Slippery Rock; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Lee Kildoo; her mother, Lenora Jane Dillaman Kildoo Snyder; her stepfather, Charles F. Snyder; and her brother, Larry Lee Kildoo.

CAPELLO — The friends of Beverly J. Capello, who passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Visitation will also be received at the Muddycreek Presbyterian Church from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. Funeral services will follow with the Rev. Matt Kail, her pastor, and the Rev. Connie Dunn, her niece, officiating. Burial will be in the Muddycreek Cemetery.
