Victoria Elizabeth Augustine-Gibson
Victoria Elizabeth Augustine-Gibson, 25, of Chicora passed away Monday at UPMC Presby Hospital as a result of sepsis related to heroin toxicity.
Born Nov. 15, 1990, in Butler, she was the daughter of Keith M. Augustine and Mary Ann Maughan-Young.
Victoria attended Karns City High School, graduating in 2009 and constantly achieved honor roll despite her advanced courses. She participated in Girl Scouts, the basketball team, Pom-Poms and many other activities. She attended Gannon University for some time, but most recently participated in online classes.
Victoria worked as a baby sitter, a cook and a house cleaner.
She attended Chicora Alliance Church.
Victoria enjoyed basketball, walking and loved to read suspense novels.
She is survived by her brothers, Saul G. Rafferty and Abraham B. Rafferty, both of Chicora; and her sisters, Julianne Augustine and Kristen Lynne Augustine, both of Butler.
AUGUSTINE-GIBSON — There will be no viewing for Victoria Elizabeth Augustine-Gibson, who died Monday, June 6, 2016. Memorial services will be conducted later.The family requests that donations instead of flowers go to Butler Memorial Hospital Recovery Program, 1 Hospital Way, Butler PA 16001.
