Betty L. Miller Brown, 77, of Butler died at 9:22 p.m. Friday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Born July 17, 1930, in Yatesboro, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of William Lester Miller and June Troutman Miller.

Mrs. Brown retired after 28 years at the Mellon Bank in Butler. She had worked for five years in the tourist industry in Maggie Valley, N.C.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she belonged to the Circle 8 Group. She enjoyed refinishing furniture.

She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Brown of Butler, whom she married Oct. 1, 1977; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Lisa) Lutza of West Chester and Mrs. Christopher (Lori) Davidson of Meridian; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Peter (Marty) Crompton of Boca Raton, Fla., and Mrs. Thomas (Michelle) Mercer of Boynton Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Hutchens of Conneaut, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.

<B>BROWN — </B>Friends of Betty L. Miller Brown, who died Friday, March 7, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>YOUNG FUNERAL HOME,</B> Butler.
