Mary M. (Goetz) Noland

Mary M. (Goetz) Noland, 92, of Adams Township, formerly of Wexford, passed away Monday.

She was the wife of the late Harold C. Noland Sr.; the dear mother of Harold C. Jr., Mary Ann Graham, John M., Kenneth F., James E. and the late George P. Noland; the sister of Joan Noland, Alberta Liegl, Eugene Goetz, Rosemary Hafner, Henrietta Rudolph, Geraldine Minehart and Kenneth Goetz and the late Veronica, Agnes, Elizabeth, Leona and Eva Goetz.

She also is survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mary worked at American Bridge with her sister, Bertie, in World War II making LST boats. She was a seamstress, who also enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking apple dumplings.

NOLAND — Friends and family of Mary M. Noland, who died Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the George A. Thoma Funeral Home, 10418 Perry Highway, Wexford.A funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Alphonsus Church, Wexford.
